You quoted, "..I t is estimated that Baotou Steel will reach RMB 2 billion of net profit in rare earth business in 2018."
I'm wondering if you might have miscopied the value of 2 billion rmb or if the number is correct. The reason I question it is 2 billion rmb is equal to $312,192,600 US dollars. Assuming a 20% profit the overall sales of Baotou Steel would be north of 1 trillion dollars. This is most likely greater than the entire rare earth market worldwide.
Would there be any way to check this easily? I appreciate it.
