What would please me is if there was a single thing these guys said that I could believe.
A single announcement of say $16 million revenue over 2 years wouldn't even please me because I know it wouldn't eventuate. Take the $16 million gas meter announcement on the 14th jan 2009 as an example. We know this hasn't eventuated because there hasn't been close to this in TOTAL revenue over this period. Bad luck if you're an investor who bought shares valuing the company on such announcements.
Their contracts don't count for anything.
Their revenue projections don't count for anything.
Their word doesn't count for anything.
Their EOY accounts don't even count for anything- being materialy adjusted 8 months later.
So you're right. These guys can't seem to please me. I wish they could.
I might at least be pleased that they're just bad managers and not having a laugh at shareholders expense if they put some money where their mouth is and bought a reasonable parcel of shares in line with their remuneration. Trumpeting such a miniscule purchase doesn't please me, it offends me.
