I don't like predicting future prices as it locks in one's mindset. There are always events or circumstances which change the market situation that affects market participants. Speculators, position investors with shorter term mindset can 'head for the hills' leaving a share price to drift / head down.
Just look at what happened at the beginning of Covid in March April 2020. So I prefer to continually assess the situation on an ongoing basis. This allows me to add, reduce or 'hold my current hand of cards'.
