Considering how important this first auction was, to lay the foundation for future auctions and therefore the business itself , I would have thought he would have needed to get it right. It was only recently that he was quoting " conservatively $100 per carat " , he needs to be close with that figure and we will see tomorrow how close is was.
If the article is factual (????) and MUS receives $1.25 per carat , his position is untenable imo
