Have AQA set a fixed price for the remaining 49% of their coal resource?? I hope not. It is a world class coking coal deposit and similar grade coal is selling for $300/ton!!
VALE have bought an incredible resource at bargain price. If AQA sells remainder..... and with 51% VALE will now call all the shots.... then we must get fair value.
Has any price been built into the option? If it is based on AQA SP then VALE are sitting rubbing their hands. They gain each time our SP falls.
Management must clarify whether balance of coal is tied to AQA SP or the coking coal spot prices. Wish we had never sold in the first place. AQA gave it away!!
