My reason for not buying more NEU now is that price action around $1.30 or $2.00 is much too far off my Dollar Cost Average purchase price AND my target price for exiting this stock.
To clarify :
I bought NEU around 16 years ago, my DCA price was 15.8 cents/share which is $3.17 post the 20x consolidation.
E.g. Target Rate Of Return for DCA price @ 10% compound per annum => Present Value $4.59 / share
E.g. Target ROR for DCA 25% cpa => PV $35.53 / share
You'll appreciate these are 2 examples from a range of scenarios.
Bottom line is that NEU has not come close to an acceptable ROR for me, but I'm ever hopeful that will change soon.
