the fish & chipper..

and on the way home, after a few stops on the train, and after being down at 'Nulla learning to surf, we'd stop in at the 'wog guy' who ran the popular fish&chip shop, and being poor little braggards, we'd hassle him for free broken potato scallops... after whinning and repeating how our Catho Moms and Dads ordered his fish every Friday, the bugger would relent and scoop out of somewhere, a big load of broken potato scallops for us, and fricken well drop some vinegar and 'mato sauce on 'em too.. after thanks and 'cool man' praise, we'd walk down the side of the shop to the carpark, drop our too big and heavy surfboards, squat on a kerb, and munch away like fat cats kings...
