re: report time ? blow out preventers and logs Hi it is a requirement and not much sense drilling a hole expecting nothing to be there BOP are a must have. I would think that they ran the Wireline logs at that depth because there are known oil seeps in the area . I do not rate oil seeps as a plus but what would I know .
