To me it seems that OmniEarth have image data analytics and Nearmap have images.
The simplest arrangement that I can think of is that OmniEarth provide a better product to their customers by using Nearmaps imagery. No doubt OE has to pay for these images, but they haven't provided details of what the nature of these payments will be. It has to be a revenue booster for Nearmap in some degree though, as well as derisking the current investments by providing earnings stability.
