    No - Nearmap run manned aircraft .. which makes more sense for them .. for now.

    I imagine there will be a time when autonomous, BVLOS operations, with large drones will become a component of the larger acquisition strategy .. large drones flying lower than current aircraft at a designated flight level for example, flying daily for fortnightly repetitious coverage, or for custom jobs - so fly-to-order (imagine a road corridor upgrade, quarry, mine, building site), or perhaps many simultaneous drones for disaster response for rapid acquisition - there are many scenarios.

    A sensor package at say $300-500k plus the drone at another $500k that can be on station for the entire day can cover a lot of ground - look at say the ScanEagle for inspo.

    Something with vertical take-off, that could be in an automated "hanger" at all local aerodromes, connected via 5G or perhaps either NBN at the "hanger" .. tasked centrally .. you get the idea.
