I think most people posting on Nearmap have no problem with shorts - most here seem quite educated and interested in proper DD, both good and bad, as well as having an understanding of the realities of market mechanics. I would never have bothered finally moving from lurking to posting over the weekend if this place looked like the forums of some other, more popular stocks.
Post something like that in the BNPL forums, where they blame every downward movement on shorting, and they'd probably consider you a lizard person planted by the worldwide shorting illuminati. Those places are useless for any real discussion, and merely serve as a resource for judging the scale and nature of retail sentiment.
