Squadron have updated their website to say that the construction of the PKIT is now complete.

They are moving to commissioning stage.

They are yet to announce a cornerstone customer to warrant a delivery of gas to the terminal.

The FSRU remains in Egypt.

They are yet to announce a GSA to acquire gas.

Recent media reports state that the current cost of buying gas via the PKIT would be $25/Gj, a little higher than my estimate of $20/Gj.

The government price cap of $12/Gj remains in place.

PKIT is a white elephant, in the middle of a gas crisis.

For NSW sake, I hope that it never delivers a single Gj at that price point but given it can't turn a profit at lower levels, this seems assured.

All three "solutions" as promised by the 2020 MoU between the Morrison and Berejeklian Governments have failed permanently or temporarily.

The Albanese and Minns Governments have failed to rectify the errors of the Morrison/Berejeklian era, so they too have failed.
