Agree with all of that as I too believe it has to be denied.
There must be some extremely shady dealings going on with the major O&G players.
Its been a long and winding round for all involved in these PEP11 companies and I think unfortunately we have to wait until after yet another election for the Libs to get in and approve this without too much fanfare.
The only thing that does not match up with my conspiracy theory is why hasn't Ed already come out and denied it. The further information was clearly BS and its not like he's reding over it. He had a predetermined position that was given to him by Albo so why not come out now and say nup I'm denying. Perhaps it gives Advent to much lead in time to get back to court and perhaps Ed and Albo want to time it so that the election is called and Advent can't get back to court before the ALP lose royally in what will be IMO a Trump style landslide win for the Coalition.
That's the problem with an extreme left Government....you can only go so far with it and its ideals before society starts to crumble. Whilst people may not like a right Government it can at least function economically without having to worry about everyone's feelings
