Both MasterChef Australia and House Ruleswrapped with their lowest ever finales last night -in the end Nine won the evening.
Strictly speaking Australia Ninja Warrior beat MasterChef‘s grand final last night, with Nine pulling 887,000 against heated competition.
MasterChef Australia grand final drew 831,000 for the bulk of its show, rising to 992,000 for the moment Larissa was announced as winner (the latter falls into a different timeslot to Ninja). The Winner Announced was still enough to top the demos but it was down on 2018 when 1.13m / 1.32m watched the respective parts.
House Rules was caught in the crossfire for its grand final at 730,000 viewers, down on 2018’s 850,000 / 920,000 portions.
Nine won Tuesday with 28.3% then Seven 27.7%, 10 21.9%, ABC 13.6% and SBS 8.5%.
