Ken, with the polls showing a trend of increaced suport for labor, decreacing suport for the lib's and Abbott polling well below Gillard as prefered pm it would be a gamble for Libs to go to an election with Abbott as leader.
Why would the libs risk losing the next election? doesn't make sence when they have some one who is twice as popular in Turnbull that would give them a much better chance of winning an election.
The far right may not like Turnbull but they can't ignore that if they want to win the next election they will have to compromise.
