Have found peanut oil, pine nuts, chopped greens, a little egg and use long grained brown rice. Olive oil is ok but for fried rice, peanut oil with the nuts is excellent ... many other bits and pieces flavours can be experimented with from this excellent basic nutty flavoured dish.
