    Not necessarily, when they sell for example 30,000 and only buy 10,0000 at the higher price.

    If they bought the same amount at the higher price, then yes, they would most certainly be losing money.

    Try this for size...


    Buy 30,000 at 18c = $5,400

    sell 30,000 @ 19.5 = $5,850.00

    Profit: $450.00

    Buy 10,000 @ 20 = $2,000

    Less profit = $1,550.00 - so 'cost' of 10,000 = 15.5c

    Brokerage would perhaps - and I say perhaps because this looks like it's being manipulated by a broking firm, and then the cost of the 10,000 would be slightly higher.

    But... it seems they're not losing at all.... in fact, they're raking it in - by selling!!
