I 100% agree with that sentiment. For all our bravado about being larakins of convict stock, the tall poppy syndrome ect, we are an exceptionally conservative country. That used to be couched in economics, not so much anymore. Where are the economic conservatives? Gone the way of disco, I think the next generations faced with astronomical debt will turn away from political conservatives. Won't be in my lifetime however.
