P2W,
Whenever I buy banana's these days I always make sure I get a well ripped one, with maybe 3-5 unripened ones.
We have a glass bowl all our fruit sits in etc, so normally I put the fully ripped one on the bottom of the bowl and then the unripened ones on top. If left for 1 day the rip one is certainly ready for eating so that one gets consumed first, the rest just seem to help each other out. Though I must admit the ripped one certainly makes the unripened ones get kicked in the guts for ripening.
I've never had banana's in fridge, I feel they get more of that pithy taste to them.
I certainly 2nd what powerball has said though.
Mike, totally agree with the watermelon at the moment. I've eaten about 5kgs of them in the last week. I like to have it after dinner as a dessert. Certainly goes down well.
