need help ....home page and spyware, page-24

same thiwith my toshiba laptop but unfortunately it sent me to a porn homepage... DOH!!!!

I checked re: repair under symantec and found

1: In the config sys menu, the homepage was set to this address and could not be amended.

2: system restore to a point prior to the problem fixed the issue, then I ran spyware which deleted the program causing it to be put into my config sys.

Hope this helps as I am not much of a computer guru... Had to fumble through it like you have...
