I installed that Super Anti Spyware as you suggested.
The scan has been going for 10 minutes so far and has found
26 Media Codec/V4
126 Malware Virus protect
10 Adware E404 Helper/Variant
17 Adware Tracking Cookie
2 Trojan DNS Changer-Codec
3 Melware Spylocked
16 Adware E404 Helper/Hij
1 Trojan Unclassified/Laf-Variant
1 Trojan Downloader-Gen/Suspicious

Thats amazing!!!
Its wouldn't even be at the half way mark yet.

I had only finished a complete Norton Scan about an hour ago.
Yet it didn't pick up any of this.

No wonder i average 500 - 1000 emails a day with most being rubbish.

Regarding the sound files, i did delete everything that was in the recycle bin.

I will do a Google to find out what sound file or files i need.

The sound is definitely "On". I got a sound from one of my emails. Its just not showing any media sound.
Anyway, i think that is the least of my problem.
Getting rid of these mongrel Trojans and other junk has made my day.

Gosh!! Its still flying along.

Will let you know how it all pans out.
There is a good chance that my PC might be a bit quicker as well.
