Hi, I'm hoping some of you mining gurus here will be able to help someone as ignorant as myself understand more about this fascinating industry.

Beginning with something as simple as reading a drill result.

    Column 1 Column 2 Column 3 Column 4 Column 5 Column 6 Column 7 Column 8
0 Hole ID Depth From Depth To Interval (m) Cu % Au g/t Cu.Eq % True width (m)
    1 CSD-16-017[/B] 330 1278 948 0.60 0.53 1.07 683
    2 (1) incls 702 1264 562 0.79 0.75 1.46 405
    3 (2) incls 784 1032 248 1.16 1.36 2.37 179
    4 (3) incls 846 996 150 1.54 2.05 3.36 98

I hope somebody can correct my understanding in case I'm way off!

Does the result in table mean:

    a) before 330m, there was no mineralisation, or aat least nothing meaningful?

    b) this hole started hitting mineralisation from 330m, and all the way till 1278m, encountered consistent mineralisation that averages 0.60% C and 0.53g/t Au?

    c) (1) incls means that within that 330-1278m, from 702-1264m, the mineralisation was stronger (0.79% Cu vs 0.60% Cu for example)?

    d) And within that 702-1264m, was a certain interval from 784-1032m that had even higher grades? And then (3) incls was yet a higher grade within the 784-1032m?

    e) How are the % and g/t figures derived? Every bit, or rather every half bit of stuff that got extracted from the drilling was assayed?

    f) true width is what matters because the hole was drilled at an angle?

    Have a good day.
