    Yes - the longer the intersection the better (shows consistency). Grade is always important (grade is king!!!). A good resource though is about more than one drill hole... it needs to be considered in context of geology, other drill hole results, etc.

    The deposit type is critical to evaluating the drill hole results... so the geological understanding is make or break. No point spending hundreds of thousands of dollars drilling unless there is already a target to drill.

    Again context is required to interpret any drill hole data. If your example hole was one of a series that defined a mineralised zone it could be a real positive showing that the mineralisation continues at depth. That said a single hole is worthless for anything other than an ASX release...
