I have a uni question in relation to gamma rays

"Natural Gamma Ray Spectroscopy makes it possible to measure 3 additional parameters to the single total Gamma Ray measurement made with the standard Gamma Ray device. What are they?"

I have answered that one with

    238U, Thorium/Uranium
    232Th, Uranium/Potassium
    40K, Thorium/Potassium
Each different reading indicates a different source of radioactivity as different clays are made up from different radioactive particles.

    A follow on question is
In addition to representing these 3 parameters on a Natural Gamma Ray Spectroscopy log, there are 3 additional curves that deal with this information in a way that is more useful to the geologist. What do these additional curves show?

    Any clues??

    Thanks in advance
