    bru, about june last year, one that i wish i had bought into.

    i suspect the most boring and hard work thing to do is the best thing to do and that is to work through the charts of everything on the asx over several years and count the ones that rise and the ones that dont. you then can work out the probabiliy of a bounce next time. your sample should be as big as you can get it which is why i said every thing on the asx.
    remember that you can see several years worth on 1 chart and at worst you can eyeball each one. it actually might not be that hard to do, especially if you get rid of some of the illiquid ones etc etc.
