Have been watching for a short time, and can see if they get their technology sorted they will be a good thing for the future. For those jumping out of their seats, we here in regional WA have a $40 million upgrade happening as we speak. There have been a number of issues so far, which will make future customers think twice before entering.
One major problem is the effective range of the transmitters. Living in city areas i am sure they get better coverage from meter to meter, but where there is no clean line of sight we are still having issues, even though we have gone to the high ground to fix these problems. The transmitters cost $6800 but only cover between 5-7 kilometres, which makes it highly ineffective when cover a system such as Esperance, that has a system 300 kms long and nearly 200kms wide.
