While I can conceive of a number of scenarios where the options will be out of the money and not exercised, I believe the chances of this occurring are probably less than 10% barring a market sell off of energy stocks.
For example, MPO's joint venture partners such as Fortune Oil are not going to stop making positive announcements in order to keep the MPO share price restrained.
