Hello to all and thanks for the spirited debate. Threads like this one teach you a lot of general information relating to possibilities of options as well, not just in relation to MPO.

Could someone please tell me if I convert my MPO options to heads at some stage before the expiry date, does my 1yr anniversary date begin at the conversion time or when I originally bought the options?

Once again thanks to all who post well thought out opinions. I can honestly say I have learned infinitely more about the share market and its various possibilities reading HC than the many books I have read. It teaches you to research as well. I never thought I would be digging my old geology text books out and spending hours reading through Chinese coal websites and various information. Out of all the areas I have researched in relation to the shares I hold - gas, oil and coal research seem so interesting and CBM research fascinating.
