This is probably part of a bigger conversation but it helps highlight my point . Here we have both parents having to work in order to fund their lifestyle which creates competition for that property . Because they both work , then they have to pay for childcare which is very expensive . So we end up with people being committed to the grind .
To my mind , the market is trying to tell them something .
I'm not criticising people's lifestyle choices here but I am wondering why they commit themselves to it , further exacerbating the problem .
Maybe there are posters on here that are in that situation and can help us understand this issue ?
