If the Albanese govt abolishes neg gearing, the guaranteed flow on will be that most of the rental properties will be sold and the rental supply will be hugely diminished.
Most property owners will not want to hold on to assets where there is no tax offset. Simple as that.
Albanese will go down in history as the PM who threw thousands of people onto the streets.
