Exactly how I predicted it would happen on this forum ... bit of a leak from a source, test the water, assess the outrage, only allow if for new housing to stimulate construction. It will break the back of the dishonesty used in marketing too.
Most importantly, established housing and affordability will now return to the domain of first home buyers, good luck to them.
I expect we will hear plenty of squealing from many but I think discussion in the public forum is long overdue. Will it happen? Dunno.
