I still cannot bring myself to buy a house even at these interest rates. A combination of government mistrust, housing bubble prices, baby boomer retirees cashing in and future removal of bubble policy are the primary reasons. I’ll wait with a pile of cash for the @@ to hit the fan, if I have to wait forever so be it. I find the proposed cash ban very concerning for those taking a defensive position. You WILL participate or get hit with the ban hammer.
