Anybody with a valid ID and a bank account over the age of 18 can short stocks. Its desd easy, just open an account and hit the sell button on the trading platform and the desired call amount and expiry date.
anybody can do it and loads of people lose money, thats how the platforms make money. Long or short. Literally anyone can do it, you don't need to be a broker!!!!!!
