Let me tell you what I think/know. I know I am not Matt Blomfield. I also know I was not at the AGM last year, but have been told by someone who was there that Tyree admitted that the Thailand deal had taken about two years to get across the line. That take us back to early 2008. The ASX announcement of 3 October 2008 tells us that Hans Van Pelt joined Mikoh when they bought the Global Integrity business. That is six months at least after the Thailand deal was underway.
I have also posted previously that MIK announced that they had informally won Thailand on 15 February 2009, and two days later announced that Blomfield had departed. It's not rocket science to deduce from that sequence of dates that that the Board waited until Blomfield sealed the deal before they got rid of him.
Van Pelt's signature may well be on the contract, and clearly he has managed the Thai contract ever since, but logic tells me that Blomfield delivered it.
