Excuse my ignorance, but do you have more than an inkling that this is RP's present raison d'etre?

While I imagine that there are regular updates between Biota and BARDA (and possibly the FDA), I would love to know whether negotiations to reduce candidates in the middle of a trial is commonplace - please show me the precedents and/or give us a little cryptic/hidden wink if you have a feeling that special negotiations might take place on this front ;-)
