It would seem to me that even though heads should roll at Solagran after this mess sorts itself, negotiation with ANZ is the key to an outcome that suits all. WE need a win-win-win here. Win for ANZ, Win for Shareholders and Win for Directors. Note the order I put those in. The fact that so many shares were risked belies belief! On one hand even if the Coy was taken over (which the directors were, prematurely in my opinion, trying to protect) they would gain like $100 million. The other equation is where they put virtually all eggs in the Opes basket and trust a company (to hold their stash )that they have zero control over.You are surely kidding. Worst case scenario between the two choices is either $100 mil or zero. Now that is what I call a great strategy! They went for the Zero option! Why didn't they take the Blow on the Head as well? I would say it is not the decision of a prudent team. Should I worry?
