Check the zoning. 5 acres perhaps rural residential will have minimum side boundary setbacks of 5m or 10m. Then check for any building restrictions, easements or covenants that may exist with the subdivision. These are usually the same or of a greater distance than the minimum setback under a DCP or LEP.
