Hi John,don't forget the K42 mag anomaly southeast of the McDonald Well Prospect.
There was an attempt to drill this back in early 1997 by Marymia Exploration.Instead of Diamond they used RC and found the going tough.The hole ended at 242m without reaching the the target anomaly,so to this date the anomaly is unexplained.
They failed to penetrate the Proterozoic cover of chert and intercept the basement feature causing the magnetic low,due to hammer blockage as stated or the Geo getting jacked off and impatient with the long hard slow going!,I'm guessing the later!.
Anyway the interesting bit is that trace gold mineralisation was intercepted on the way down,plus weak to trace sulphides were present at several horizons,base metals not assayed!.Note there are a number of VTEM targets in this area.
Hopefully LSR get a diamond hole into this.
