Reducing funds for private health cover, and private schools for that matter, will mean people on moderate wages can no longer afford either of these. They will then be forced to turn to the public health system and public schools, putting more strain on both, and costing the govt more. This is typical of Labor (socialist) govts. throughout the world in their attempts to create a classless society. All it does is create an even bigger divide between the rich and poor.
