    @trashcansinatra; unlike the Cabinet documents from John Howard's governments which are now overdue for release to the the public and apparently MIA, the material provided in those ABC 'Nemesis' interviews have already become 'primary documents' for researchers to interrogate in future years.

    Small wonder Tony Abbott repeated his approach to the national apology to 'Stolen Generations' and boycotted his opportunity to provide his insights / perspectives! We're therefore left to wonder to what extent Abbott's perspectives would be a further embarrassment for him and the Coalition.

    When it comes time for Cabinet documents from Abbott's government to be released, I guess we can expect the similar censorship as we've just seen courtesy of the precedent established by John Howard's opaque regime.
