Youve changed your tune again !!! . Before it was end of year tax selling and all the other cliche stuff for this time of year . I watch the trades quite closely but dont profess to know everything but what i do know is that the people that get paid to know are talking about some planned manipulation , but you are correct , it happens in the market everyday . Im not sure if you read the general forum but everyday we have people complaining to the ASX and ASIC and nothing happens ( ever ). The more trades that go through the more money they make so why regulate or attempt to regulate . Anyway im not going to continue this argument with you but there is more reasons to price movements and trading than only your opinions for it
