G'day everyone. Hope you all picked the Diva.

Over the last few months, all sorts of theories have been thrown around about NEO and the JV. Here is a brief summary of the main themes:

1. OPL and NEO management hate each other

2. There is no communication between OPL and NEO

3. OPL and NEG were aiming to squeeze the life out of NEO and then pick up the pieces on the cheap

4. No news because NEG is private and wants to keep everything quiet

In light of the announcement today, does anyone have anything to say about these? The first two don't seem that plausible to me because OPL let NEO in on South Buttonwillow.

Also, now that NEG are largely out of the picture (except for the Deeps on Block B) should we expect to see a lot more transparency from the JV?
