Not sure what these grades mean as far as vinadium is concerned, it’s the titanium grades that are jumping off the page and titanium NMT has said is the big one, but by using the Neomet process they may be able to extract both with the extraction cost covered by the titanium recovery giving us the vanadium as a bonus.
With DOS proposed it may be that in first instance no vanadium is recovered unless Chinese can extract it at their end and give us some value for it, but I would hope that once a processing plant is built at the mine that both titanium and vanadium can be recovered.
My thoughts are it’s all about titanium as the higher value mineral due to grades but vanadium is present and may come given time depending on how the processing plant works.
Anyone know if the Neomet process can extract several different minerals at the same time or do we need to extract the titanium first then reprocess the tailings to get the vanadium, Loop.
