I actually spent the first few years of my life in Nepean in the days that people lived in caravans onsite and well before FIFO. 21km south of Coolgardie and at the time operated by Metals X who also dicovered the Mount Keith Operation. It had a haulage road that cut across to the Coolgardie Esperance highway that they used to pretty transport the relatively untreated highgrade concentrate down to Esperance before shipping it off. Can't remember when it was closed down as I was interstate but I have been back to visit a few times.
