But this is an old story ... I saw a video on straitstimes.com last year where they said plant construction will start in the first half of next year and be complete by the end of 2010.

Now this plant is going to cost about $A1 billion to build and will be capable of processing 800,000 tonnes of feedstock per year, in comparison NFL's Singapore operation which can process 600,000 tonnes of feedstock per year only has a market value* of about $A50 million ... based on 342 million shares at 14 cents. Based on the float price, NFL would have had an initial market value* of over $A500 million.

Also we shouldn't forget that NFL has room to install another couple of plants, and those plants would be capable of processing 900,000 tonnes of feedstock per year per plant based on 3 trains of 300,000TPA. This would give a total of 2,400,000 tonnes.


Sounds as though Neste Oil have great confidence in the future of Biofuels.
