The Market Cap reality is stark....and inexplicable, because there continues to be no released revenue\earnings information, but I feel OK that they have now acquired some of both, albeit it at a Premium.
What are the values of those two elements...I would not waste the ink predicting....the company must address a clear failing, to materially disclose data in a timely manner.
My gut tells me it will be better values....... better than what was whispered...straight gut, no factual reasoning. Dead cat bounce.
This forum often states that many of the posters have no technical background, knowledge that might discern the validity of the 4 main Doubters, I would concur, without reservation, on pretty much everything posted by the Doubters, with the caveat that this sector of the Networking world is arcane, and complex on it's best day, so although I agree with everything posted, I can not imagine these comments crossing my display, without at least ten years of industry perspective.
Question....should you be investing in something so specialized.
In the Great CyberWar, the first real shots are only now being fired, all established vendors, many mentioned here, may have to finally admit that they have been complicit with Nation State actors and agencies, in building out The Surveillance Capitalism Complex, unfortunately a VIN, is not a welcome element in that schema, ever, by either side.
At the United States House Select Committee hearing on Huawei, in 2014, Ranking Virginia Representative Wolf, an Ex-U.S. FBI Law Enforcement agent, asked the company's Chinese National representative, if Huawei had copied\stolen, the Cisco Layer Two Intellectual property design, for it's own products, the hearing room went dead silent, lawyers on all sides exploded, Intelligence Officers in the crowd, on all sides smirked, chaos ensued, in both English and Cantonese, it was getting very "chippy", if you were multi lingual, then a very important chap from the Chinese Embassy stood up, and in perfect "Putongua", declared that Huawei had not copied the Cisco design, because you could clearly see from the internal Huawei device photo on the screen, that Huawei had replaced Cisco's NSA backdoor echo plane part, with a Huawei encrypted backplane, for it's own self interest.
Laughter was genuine and loud, Chairman Wolf gaveled the hearing to an end, it has never reconvened.
Sadly for Netlinkz, it may still not be the right time for the general network adoption of software attributed packet obfuscation. Certainly not in an Authoritarian Mercantilistic regime, consumed with quelling dissent in HK, and stopping Covid-19. IMHO.
The company presentations since May 2018, on the existing technology and applications, are often poorly communicated.
It is quite easy to search past presentations, and videos, going back to 2009, as many of these were clear, outstanding, and very frustrating to Investors in that time period, as the capabilities at the time, 8 years ago, were genuinely revolutionary.
This is when the company won a couple of very legit International awards. Iwebgate was an opportunity not consummated, there are a lot of reasons for this, and Iwebgate is not alone in the Tech world , as a company that missed, or was missed, in monetizing it's inventions. Been there myself.
A Trading halt should not be considered a bad thing, the announcement states, they have raised more capital. Announcing it I guess on Friday, give the weekend time to control all those animal spirits.
The raising of more capital, now that is another discussion, my gut says maybe they buy something else, hopefully with revenue.
