I empathise with ALL human beings in need and do not differentiate between ailing affluent Westerners or starving 3rd World inhabitants. My "meh" was concerning your need to publicise your altruistic actions. Real charity is not self-seeking, it is done solely for the benefit of others. As you would know, humility is often confused with false modesty.
