Disclosure: I also hold NCM put options and would love to see NCM go into liquidation. That said I think sydneyguy you may have grossly underestimated the risk in shorting NCM.

There is a good reason for NCM to trade at high multiples, due to the lopsided nature of the risk/reward for NCM, or for any miners for that matter. i.e. if gold doubles from here to $3000/oz, NCM will be worth 10x more, but it can only go to 0 even if gold becomes worthless tomorrow. And as Bernanke said, no one understands gold, who knows what it can do.
