Aren't we already in a recession ? In any event, that being the case, I think there will be plenty of banks willing to step in and scoop it up. Couple that with some of the crypto $$ looking for a new home and we might not have quite the same sell-off as you expect, even in a mass liquidation crash, especially once the realisation dawns that inflation is here to stay.......because the CB's actually want it to monetise their debt piles.
