net loss 7.32m in first year

Engin Ltd (ASX:ENG) reported a net loss of $7.32 million for the year to
June 30 2006 compared with a profit of $4.04m in the prior year.
Revenue was $8.61m compared with $1.54m previously.
FY06 represents the first financial year that the consolidated
entity has traded solely as the broadband telephone company.
Broadband telephony revenue increased by 458.9 per cent during
the year, reflecting the subscriber line base growth to 39,000 at June
30 2006.
The company's net loss compares with the prior year when the
consolidated result included $13.2 million of other income relating to
the settlement of the Agent Service Provider Agreement with Vodafone.
